Srinka has over 25 years experience in the non-profit and charity sectors with a focus on both national and international issues. The rising concerns about food shortages, food insecurity and the alarming growth of the community’s reliance on food banks is what drew her to the Food Bank of York Region (FBYR) in 2023. A long-time resident and engaged community member of York Region, it presented an opportunity to help flip the script. The ongoing efforts and commitment of FBYR to alleviate this burden on many families, especially children, is not only critical but continues to have significant impact.
Srinka also serves as Chair, Flato Markham Theatre Advisory Board.
